I know that I am to used “No.1 plaster” for making slump molds, but you have 2 different kinds labeled. Can you recommend which one to use?
Hi Maria, I don’t know how we overlooked this message but there are a few plasters you could use for slump molds. #1 Pottery is the most common as it is more porous but that also makes it softer and more easily damaged. For something a little stronger but slightly less porous you could use Casting Plaster. For an even stronger mold you could use White Hydrocal. I hope this helps but if you have any more questions feel free to reach out.
